Portraits

I have shown a variety of portrait styles here including beauty photography as well as naturalistic portraits in daylight. I like to try and capture an atmosphere in a portrait in keeping with their character. It can be a collaborative process but mostly I have an approach based on my impression of them and the idea I am trying to convey. If the viewer can look at a portraits and get a sense of the person then, to me, it is a success. There are also come character portraits in this gallery that were shot as narrative pieces with the subject playing a film noir character.
