Live Poetry in Galway at the Crane Bar

This was shot when I was in Galway last year at a traditional music session at The Crane Bar, the Poets name is Pat Carthy:

It was remarkable to see the session unfold as musicians simply turned up and joined in. In the middle of the evening this guy stood up and recited his poem, I was in a good spot to frame him against the crowd in the low light. I hope to edit the whole evening into a short film and might add to it later this year, work permitting.
